Terms of Service
These terms are a plain-language starting point for using Stylelock. Have a lawyer review them before you treat them as final for a store submission or commercial launch.
The service
Stylelock provides a maker dashboard and MCP server so you can explore style candidates, lock a style and palette, plan and generate brand assets, edit and vectorize them, export packs, manage API keys, and buy credit packs for metered generation. Features available to you depend on your account balance and any limits we publish in the product.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your account secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, including tool calls made with your API keys. Do not share API keys publicly; revoke a key if it may have been exposed.
Acceptable use
You may use the service for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to bypass quotas, rate limits, authentication, credit metering, or other technical limits.
- Probe, disrupt, or overload the service beyond normal product use.
- Submit content that is illegal or that infringes others’ rights.
- Resell access to the service in a way that hides you as the account holder without our written permission.
Your content
You retain whatever rights you have in the briefs, assets, and materials you or your agents submit. We process that content only to operate the service for you. You are responsible for checking that your use of outputs does not infringe others’ rights.
Credits and purchases
Metered actions consume credits from your account. Credit packs are purchased through our checkout provider. Charges shown on a generation result are the amounts deducted for that work. Credits are not a bank deposit; unused credits may remain available subject to the product rules we publish, and we do not invent refund guarantees beyond what applicable law requires.
Termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or refuse service to accounts that abuse the service or attempt to bypass its limits. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create legal or security risk. Where practical we will explain the reason; we may act immediately when abuse, fraud, or security risk requires it.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as available. Style candidates, generated assets, and vision-check verdicts are tools to help you ship consistent brand materials — not a guarantee of uniqueness, brand safety, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stylelock and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim or (b) fifty US dollars. Some places do not allow certain limitations; in those places our liability is limited only to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Stylelock, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would choose a different jurisdiction. Courts in that same place may hear disputes, except that local consumer-protection law applies where it gives you stronger rights, including any right to bring claims in your home courts.
